BigFix Patching

Aggie Desktop provides BigFix patching of operating systems and common applications for Windows and Mac clients as a service to the UC Davis campus. Aggie Desktop issues weekly patching baselines for subscribed computers to ensure that they are secure and compliant with campus policies.

Campus units may subscribe to this service at no cost instead of or in addition to managing their own BigFix patching cycle.

BigFix is an endpoint management tool that can be used to apply operating system and application patches to Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS computers. BigFix is centrally licensed at UC Davis and available to all campus units for management of client endpoints.
